Lieutenant David Hetman was been named the 2012 VINE Coordinator of the Year by the New York State Sheriffs’ Association Institute.

Over the years Lieutenant David Hetman has demonstrated an extraordinary commitment to the VINE Program in Rensselaer County. He has diligently tested and validated all aspects of the installation process when the VINE system was started up. Since that time he has closely monitored all software upgrades and changes to the jail booking system. His skill and combined knowledge of corrections and IT services, has made a significant contribution to the VINE Program not only in Rensselaer County but many other county correctional facilities.
