On January 25, 2011, the President of the New York State Sheriffs’ Association, Orange County Sheriff Carl DuBois and the Chairman of the New York State Sheriffs’ Association Institute, Inc., Yates County Sheriff Ronald G. Spike, co-hosted a Heroes’ Luncheon Ceremony at the 77th Annual New York State Sheriffs’ Winter Training Conference held at the Desmond Americana Hotel in Albany, NY.  Association President, Carl DuBois and Institute Chairman, Ronald Spike recognized a group of distinguished Sheriffs’ employees who were acknowledged for their dedication, contribution, and sacrifice in providing safety, security and service to the citizens in the State of New York.  One of the honorees was Ed Ignarri, Director of Rehabilitation from Monroe County Sheriff’s Office who was selected as the 2010 VINE Coordinator of the Year Award winner.  Since his appointment to this position, Director Ignarri has exemplified  an exceptional commitment and dedication to the New York Sheriffs’ Victim Hotline Program that serves Victims of Crime.  He has provided invaluable guidance and oversight to the program which serves not only the citizens of Monroe County but all the citizens in the State of New York.
